The Mission of MierzOutdoors▾
Founded in 2020, MierzOutdoors is an environmental organization led by Jake Mierzwa, with a goal to reimagine what recreation looks like here in BC.

Around the Province, people are connected to their land more than most would realize.
As one of the few things that truly unites us all,
Our home, and how we treat it, has a certain standard that has to uphold.
Helping keep an eye on issues around us,
MierzOutdoors plays the role of a local Steward. Working passionately to try and preserve the places we cherish the most.
Our aim towards improvement starts with enhancing public awareness, the kind of community service needed to restore what we've done wrong.
Paid or volunteer,
We just want to do what we can to take care of our land.

Growing up in Chilliwack, BC, Jake has always been driven by a passion for the outdoors.
With lots of time spent out on adventures, he learned a deep appreciation for the place he calls home.
Jake's aims to bring a future he wants to see,
by promoting positive recreational practices, and putting in work as an avid volunteer.
To put his ambitions into action, Jake founded "MierzOutdoors" to organize a real effort to do his part in preserving what's important to him.
